NYT Strands Today (Game #945): The Answers
The answers to today’s Strands game number 945 are…
- REEK
- FROG
- ASTEROIDS
- CENTIPEDE
- STRUGGLE
- SPANGRAM FIRST: ARCADE GAMES
- My rating: Easy
- My score: Perfect
When I saw today’s topic “grab your tokens”, I immediately thought of video games and went to search for the word “arcade”. And so ARCADEGAMES became my Spangram First number 107.
Arcades bring back a lot of memories for me, but mainly how ridiculously horrible I was in every game I tried; everyone else I knew was amazing at them and stayed there for a long time, while I lost my life in seconds even in simple games like Pac-Man. But I didn’t care; I was an enthusiastic spectator.
All that said, despite having PONG, FROGGER, and ASTEROIDS in a quick burst, the lesser played CENTIPEDE and SCRAMBLE were harder to spot.
