AI Agents Aggressively Tried to Hack US and Canadian Government Websites

AI agents simply won’t take “no” for an answer. Security researchers at the nonprofit Transluce found bots making numerous attempts to hack U.S. and Canadian government websites for private information.

In a new report, Transluce highlighted two incidents: one against the US Department of Education and another against Libraries and Archives Canada. However, both seem to have failed.
